If you’re after the best coffee on the island and a lunch stop, Strudel in Town is the place to come. With fantastic views across the harbour, we’re a small cafe serving delicious German lunches, soups, paninis, and cakes. Our barista coffees are made with organically grown beans roasted in Germany by a local company. Then of course we have strudel, cooked daily and served hot from the oven.

Dining at the Castle is a delight. Guests have the choice of two award-winning restaurants featuring fresh locally caught sea food, local produce and vegetables from our own kitchen garden. Open during the summer months and adorned by a magnificent vine, the Conservatory restaurant is light and airy. It has the same convivial atmosphere as the Castle restaurant, but specialises in seafood and offers a delightfully alternative dining experience.

Our bar cafe on is siuated by Kitchen Par Bay, here you can enjoy a delicious range of food and drink in the sunshine, just moments from the beach.
Wherever possible, we use produce from local suppliers within the islands, including amazingly fresh Hillside Farm produce, ice cream from Troytown Farm, St. Agnes, lobster from Bryher's own Richard Jenkins and crab from Island Fish based here on the island.
Otherwise, nearly all food and drink is thoughtfully purchased throughout Cornwall from established companies such as St.Austell Brewery, Wine from Cornwall, Cornish Coffee, Penwithian Penzance and Westcountry Fruit and Vegetables.

During the summer season, Little Arthur Farm opens its cafe and bistro, cooking and serving food produced on the farm. We believe in guaranteeing the provenance of our food by growing it ourselves, be it salad leaves, fresh tomatoes, beef from animals grazed on our own pastures, milk from our Guernsey cows and goats or eggs from our Rhode Island hens. We believe in picking our tomatoes when they have been allowed to ripen naturally to develop their true flavour, not picked green and then ripened with gases and hormones. We believe in cows that have grazed their own grass, not stall-fed milk machines gorging on omnivorous diets and chemicals. We believe in fish that has been sustainably fished in the clear waters around Scilly, not in factory ship produce that has been flown in from the other side of the world.

Traditionally the haunt of smugglers, pirates and fishermen the pub is still firmly connected to its maritime past. Now the destination of choice for sailors and more legitimate boatmen, locals and visitors alike the traditional main bar is the social hub of St Mary’s.
You can also experience the Slip Inn bar and bistro or The Mermaid restaurant both of which overlook the old quay and St Mary’s Harbour and have stunning views of Samson, Bryher and Tresco. While the main bar retains its historic character, The Slip Inn and Mermaid restaurant exude a more fresh and contemporary maritime feel.

Dibble & Grub is a Mediterranean style Restaurant & Bar situated on Porthcressa Beach. Our bright and cosy dining room offers beautiful views over the bay, and our alfresco seating area enjoys sheltered sunshine. We pride ourselves on a relaxed atmosphere with attentive, friendly service. We are passionate about the quality of our ingredients, the creation of our products and quality of our service.

Starting as a small tea garden in an idyllic spot, Juliet’s has grown and firmly established itself as a popular and highly attractive restaurant, still boasting breathtaking views across the harbour, and indeed, most of the other islands.
