We are located on the east side of the island underneath the splendour of Mont Orgueil Castle, with views across Gorey Harbour leading to golden sands of Grouville Bay.
Once the centre of boat building and oyster fishing, Gorey harbour is a safe mooring for pleasure boats and a variety of watersports take place on Grouville bay with its safe bathing.

La Hougue Bie
A truly memorable experience that is at once thought provoking and peaceful, the passage grave is one of the ten oldest buildings in the world. With a name that’s derived from the Old Norse of the Vikings – haugr meaning a mound and byr - that’s bound up with a medieval legend of a dragon and a knight, it’s no surprise that La Hougue Bie is a magical and surprising place.

This budget hotel is conveniently located in a residential area on the west side of St Helier. For families and couples needing more space, the Hotel has some one and two-bedroomed self cater suites in an adjacent property.

MARINA GATE
The Marina pond is maintained at a level of 5 metres (16.5ft) above chart datum by means of a sill gate. International Port Traffic Signals and depth gauges show when entry and exit are possible. This can be taken as approximately 3 hours either side of high water, the actual period differing slightly with Springs and Neaps. A digital gauge showing the depth of water (in metres) above the sill gate is situated at the entrance to the Marina
ENTRY TO THE MARINA
When the Marina is accessible, craft will be directed by the Port Control signals—and also the Harbour Control launches at peak periods—to transit the Commercial harbour and proceed to the area reserved for visiting craft. Craft arriving when the sill gate is closed or when the main harbour is closed to pleasure craft for the movement of commercial shipping, traffic should proceed to the Yacht Basin which is situated on the starboard hand immediately before the Victoria Pierhead. Entry to La Collette Yacht Basin is available at all states of tide but caution should be used during spring tide low water periods where the approach channel fairway buoys should be followed.

Menai Marine build a range of Ribs, sports and fishing boats with hulls designed for sea keeping comfort and security.
Our rib range are second to none and built to last, GRP structural chassis, moulded hulls and decks mean that with a Menai Rib you know your hull interior is not degrading from the first time you put it in the water.
Menai also build the Sea Ranger Rigid tubed boat. Extremely stylish and purpose full. It is a positive buoyancy boat that is equal to any rib, but the solid tubes do not puncture, and contain storage hatches. The benefits to this boat are numerous and we have yet to find a down side.
Menai Marine are also builders of modern fishing and sports boats. Continuously developing but all in keeping with the same philosophy, 4x4’s for the sea. With comfort and style.

Elizabeth Castle
Built on a rocky islet in St Aubin’s Bay, Elizabeth Castle has defended Jersey for more than 400 years. You can take the amphibious Castle Ferry or walk out along the causeway at low tide. Elizabeth Castle is the perfect place to spend a day exploring Jersey's history. Climb the battlements dating back to the 1590’s, when Sir Walter Raleigh was Governor of Jersey from 1600 until 1603. Explore the grounds which gave refuge to King Charles II during the English Civil War and uncover the bunkers which were re-fortified to command the sea approaches to Jersey during the German Occupation in World War II. Marvel at the hermitage where St Helier is thought to have lived around 550 A.D.
