A very stylish restaurant as described by other reviewers. Lovely ambience and the waiters and waitresses are pleasant and not aloof (As is sometimes the case in high end restaurants) we were "Warned" that its very expensive? We live in Cheshire and the prices of our restaurants are much higher and not necessarily any better. We were happy with the whole night, including menu choices, service and value for money. If you are on holiday or just visiting the island, I strongly recommend eating here at least once, its a lovely experience and it wont break the bank!

Probably THE best restaurant in Jersey and is quite famous amongst the locals. Obviously, as with all top restaurants you have to expect to pay for the excellent food and service, and although it is not the cheapest place to eat, its certainly not the most expensive either. We had a few meals in here with drinks and the average price was around £50 per head, which we thought was great value for money. Whatever your budget is, try to visit Samphire at least once whilst in Jersey, we really enjoyed the whole experience.

Samphire is a well known and extremely stylish high end restaurant in St Helier Jersey. We had heard that the scallops here were delicious and we were not mis-informed. Cooked to perfection and sweet tasting. For those of us who still smoke, they have a lovely roof terrace upstairs where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy your cigar or cigarette. A truly great restaurant and not as expensive as we thought it would be. Would we go again when we return to Jersey? Absolutely yes!

If you are looking for a high end restaurant for something special then Samphire is a great choice. The décor is stunning as you can see in the photos, and the service is just as good. Its not one of the cheapest restaurants in Jersey, but its definitely one of if not THE best. If you want to try it out first and don't want to spend much, try the brunch, this is inexpensive for what you get. But to be honest the full dinner menu with drinks, hardly breaks the bank and is worth every penny for the experience.

Beautiful restaurant with stunning decor and perfect lighting. The restaurant has a reputation as being one of the finest on the island, so we had to give it a try. We were fortunate and got a table without booking, (although I would recommend booking first.) We were not disappointed and the whole night was a great experience for us. The bill was pretty much what we were expecting, with no unpleasant surprises or supplements.

Lovely restaurant elegantly decorated with perfect lighting, making you feel like you are in a high end restaurant. the staff are very welcoming. It was a Friday when we visited and it was extremely busy. however the staff coped well and we were looked after.
The food was no letdown. We stuck to seafood. The scallops were done to perfection. The most surprising thing was the price. Although not the cheapest of restaurants its certainly not the most expensive. But taking into account the food, service and ambiance, its definitely great value for money.

A pleasant experience in beautiful surroundings. The menu has plenty of options to suit all tastes, including plenty of vegetarian dishes.
The staff are obviously well trained and seem to take pride in their work.

Top Top Top cuisine served here and the decor is beautiful as you can see from the lovely photos. Its not one of the cheapest restaurants in Jersey, but you get what you pay for, as the saying goes. And you get a lot here, the service, food, surroundings, and atmosphere are all high class. If you appreciate a good meal the Samphire is the place to go.

If you want to "Push the Boat out" as they say, take time out and treat yourself or loved ones to a special treat. Everything here is to an extremely high standard. You can see the chefs working away in the spotless kitchen. The food is simply the best we sampled on Jersey, and we have sampled plenty. Its not a restaurant to go to if you are on a tight budget, but you get what you pay for, and here you get a hell of a lot for your money.
Best restaurant in Jersey??? Well we haven't found anything that matches Samphire, let alone surpass it.
