We have visited Portugal quite a few times as we used to have a mooring there, so we are quite knowledgeable on Portuguese food. We both agreed that Do Porto served up food as good as what we have ever had, even in Portugal. We only had time to eat there once as we were on a tight schedule, but rest assured we do plan to visit the islands again later this year and Restaurant Do Porto will be one of our fist ports of call!!

I couldn't agree more with the comments from Kate & Bev, the Do Porto staff were an absolute pleasure and light hearted. we are not experts on Portuguese food, but if they are all similar to this, we will be eating more of it in future.

Jersey has a strong Portuguese contingency, as many Portuguese came over for work many years ago. quite a lot have settled and they are an important part of the island community. quite a few have set up businesses and have been very successful, hence the reason for quite a few Portuguese restaurants. many of them are superb and Restaurant Do Porto is right up there with the best. Not only that its probably one of the most affordable. Run by a lovely family that ensure the food and service is always excellent. We travel to Jersey two or three times a year for work commitments, and we always visit Do Porto on our visits. Great to see it featured on here.

Love this restaurant and we always have at least one meal here on our trips to Jersey. It has a Portuguese and Mediterranean menu and serves up fabulous dishes at sensible and affordable prices. One to put on your list when in Jersey.

Loved this restaurant. Very Mediterranean in its atmosphere and the dishes they serve. I think its Portuguese family owned and run. The service is as good as the food, and you are not rushed into ordering. We are seafood lovers and were delighted with our choices and the portions are very generous. Prices are also very good.

Without a doubt THE best Portuguese restaurant we have been to. We like trying different European style restaurants when we go away, but this has definitely made us lovers of Portuguese cuisine. Everything about the experience was very enjoyable. I have even tried cooking some of the dishes on the menu since returning home, but I think I will leave it to the experts at Do Porto in future.

We made a reservation here for a family get together meal after seeing the lovely photos that are on the listing. Its off the main street in a quiet side street there are two entrances, one for a café bar and the other for the restaurant. There were plenty of locals eating there (Always a good sign).
The restaurant serves up delicious Portuguese cuisine at affordable prices. It is a restaurant we intend visiting again on our next visit to Jersey.
