A relaxed place to meet for drinks or a meal, with some of the best views in town. If you would like to stay, we also have 3 stylish and comfortable rooms. The bar serves a great range of cocktails, as well as coffee, beers, and wines. The brasserie serves fresh, and exciting food. Opening hours: 9am till 12 late.
We are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays* Room are available all week.

Lounges was founded in 2002 by a trio of longstanding friends, Dave Reid, Alex Reilley and Jake Bishop. Having spent years in the restaurant and bar trade – not to mention just as many propping up the bars in Bristol (all of course in the name of research) – they decided it was time they did their own thing. The motivation was simple and very selfish; they wanted somewhere to drink themselves.
Our menus reflect our personality. We take food really seriously, using the best fresh produce in really creative dishes, but we also make sure our menus are about pleasure, indulgence, and fun! A bit like us.

The Granby is a friendly traditional pub located in the popular area of West Cliff with lots of local amenities nearby including Whitby Pavillion only a few minutes walk away. The bustling town centre and popular harbour is a 5 minute walk away. We are also an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Coast.
We provide comfortable accomodation with 3 double rooms a 2 bedroomed family room and a 3 bedroom appartment. All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, tea/coffee making facilites, hairdryer, free Wifi, shower and basin (wc is situated on the landing).
The newly refurbished 3 bedroom appartment comprises a spacious lounge with flat screen TV, a dinning area, two double and one single bedrooms, shower, toilet and kitchen.
There is live music every weekend, an open mike night on wednesdays and Bingo on Tuesdays.
