Voted Whitby's Best!
What trip to the seaside would be complete without sampling fish and chips and where better than at Hadley’s?
Hadley’s first opened its doors in 1937. Its founder Alan Hadley believed in a quality product at a good price. His beliefs have continued through the years and now with over 85 years experience in the industry we have perfected the humble fish and chips.
In recent years we've been voted Whitby's Best Fish and Chips by the readers of the Whitby Gazette and continue to be a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike!

Hadley's Fish & Chips
The name Hadley's Fish & Chips suggests a typical English fish & chip shop, but Hadley's is definitely not. This place would be best described as a specialist fish restaurant with a takeaway facility.
We were passing by Whitby and decided to call in and have lunch here. We decided upon Hadley's and ate in. Everything was perfect, including the portions. They have gluten free dishes etc. The restaurant was very busy but we got a table easy enough. Whitby seems to be inundated with fish and chip restaurants, we cant comment on any of the others, but Hadley's was spot on!
