Hi Mally
We visited Lerwick earlier this year on a passage through to Norway and we loved it,we only planned on staying three days but ended up staying for ten(partly due to weather but mostly due to the fact that we loved it)Its a great stop-over place full of characters.

Optimum Marine Surveys by John Heale
I recently used the services of Optimum Marine to carry out a survey of my vessel. Oli Byles carried out the survey and I found the service professional, informative and courteous. I would recommend this company. John Heale

Retail Outlets
Irvine Interiors stock a wide-ranging selection of furniture, beds, mattresses and upholstery. Although Irvine Interiors is just four years old, the company, in some shape or form, has been selling furniture for the past 18 years. Starting out as part of Lerwick Building Centre, the company first began selling flat pack furniture in 2001, progressing to beds and mattresses just one year later. Ready assembled furniture followed shortly after, including sofas and chairs. Today, they have a team of seven staff and operate as part of the same buying group as many well-known mainland competitors. Unlike mainland competitors, however, they are able to offer a personal after sales service to Shetland residents.
