There is no debate about the best place to be at sundown! It is at the hotel's rooftop restaurant. The spacious Mediterranean Breeze, scorched during the day, is pleasant in the evening. Here one has yet a different perspective of the stunning views enjoyed from the hotel. The Comino watchtower, the silhouette of Malta's northern coast and Fort Chambray form a suggestive frame around the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.
BBQ or our popular Grand Buffet are served there 4 times a week in the summer from 19:00 until 22:00. Non-residents are welcome by reservation.

A favourite of visitors and locals for more than 25 years, Tmun (formerly at Xlendi) is nowadays tucked away on the marina road behind a row of colourful Gozitan fishing boats.
Leli is the supreme front-of-house man and oversees a team of outstandingly friendly and attentive waiting staff. Wife Jane, best fish cook on the island, created the dishes and son Paul has inherited her passion and developed her range. He works behind a window in full view of the diners – a sure sign of confidence. A choice of meat dishes is available but fish has always been the speciality, usually grilled, al sale (baked in salt) or cartoccio (in foil with gozo olive oil and herbs). And with local fishermen constantly padding barefoot across the street to deliver their daily catch it could hardly be fresher. The bouillabaisse, served for two to share, has been a constant preference for regulars. As has Jane’s delightful cheesecake and the array of home-made ice creams.

Our restaurant recalls the name of a ferry that used to cross over between Gozo and Malta in the 20th century. It was bought by Joseph Gasan in 1947. It was modernized into a passenger ferry until the Gozo mail service was introduced in 1950. On 23rd January, the Bancinu broke its moorings and was driven ashore at Mgarr during a storm. After the Royal Navy salvage vessel Uplifter salvaged the Bancinu on 10th February, it was towed to the Grand Harbour. Later in December it was sold to a Greek marine company and was renamed Athinai.

Rexy Restaurant is a family run business that has been established for 28 years.
We specialise in Mediterranean cuisine and have our home made specialities including our ravioli with traditional Gozo Cheese.
Brother and sister Franklee and Anna Marie manage the kitchen while sister Christabel is the restaurant manager.
Summer opening times: 11.00 am to 14.15 pm and reopen at 18.00 hrs till 21.45 hrs.
We close Tuesday evenings.

Il-Kartell is one of the first standalone restaurants in Marsalforn which has truly been a family affair since its inception in the early 1970s. Despite the minor changes to the landscape, Il-Kartell remains somewhat of a local cornerstone in the world of dining and leisure. The foundations of our kitchen and restaurants are built amongst the original structures of three boat houses, and it is this opening chapter of the Il-Kartell story that we have returned to in our efforts and passion to deliver you the very best in casual dining by the sea.
