We visited this beautiful underated island earlier this year and enjoyed the guidance and usefulness of this guide to Gozo. We have tried to leave true reviews to some of the businesses (Mainly Bars and Restaurants) we visited. We will be back in the Summer of 2020 and look forward to revisiting some of the excellent bars and eateries that make Gozo such a great place to visit.

Delighted to hear that you are now compiling a guide for Malta and Gozo. We are coming over soon and look forward to seeing what Gozo has to offer.
We have just looked at the pictures on the tour and it brought back so many happy memories we had at this beautiful restaurant. It felt like we were back there for a minute. Our sun showed us how to view them in a virtual headset. It really is a fantastic experience and really makes you feel like you are actually there. Hopefully we will be there for real in July, taking in the sunshine and the stunning views.
we had our accommodation on our boat so we didint stay at the hotel (Although we wished we had) but came in a few times for drinks and once for a meal. It really is the best hotel on Gozo by far in our opinion. The only bad part is having to heave yourself back on a little boat for the night. Maybe next year we treat ouselves for an overnight stay and take in all the luxuries this hotel has to offer.
We hired aq car for aq coupleof days and it was one of our better ideas. We got to know a lot more of the island. We found this company very easy to deal with and everything was explained to us in detail. Its one we will use again
Well if it is stunning views and food as good, then this is a must for you. A little bit off the beaten track The Country Terrace is well worth the leffort. You can spend ages here eating drinking and relaxing, taking in the stunning views all around.
We had an extremely relaxing and entertaining night in this stunning restaurant. You can here the sea lapping and the views looking out to sea are amazing. Weather its a romantic night with a loved one, or a group of friends and crew going out for a good night. Il Kartel ticks all the boxes.

We frequented here on outrip to Gozo. Extremely handy for the marina, just a very short walk from our boat. Its equally good sitting in or out depending on your mood. They will even deliver to the boat if neccarry we think. Its a restaurant you have to try when in Gozo.
Well located marina, friendly staff, but appalling customer service and management. We booked for two nights in advance for our 49ft sailing yacht. We were not advised (and it wasn't printed anywhere in T&Cs) that it was forbidden to leave our dinghy in the water (even though we'd safely tied it so there was no chance of it touching another boat). On arrival we were informed we would have to remove it from the water. The dinghy goes on davits at the back of the boat and if we use those we can't get off the boat so we always tie it safely at the bow. It's too heavy to hoist onto the deck. We asked to speak to the marina manager as the dinghy goes on davits at the back of the boat and if it's on them we can't get off the boat and we wanted to explain the situation - we were quite prepared to move it elsewhere, although we'd already spoken to the people on board the boat next door who were happy with the way we'd left the dinghy. We waited several hours for the marina manager, but he didn't appear so we went off to explore. As we were returning we saw the marina staff board our boat without our permission and remove our dinghy and tow it to another dock. When we finally got to speak to the manager he told us we would be charged around EUR 50 for it to be on an empty pontoon for the two nights and that this was the only option, which was totally unacceptable. On speaking to other people in the marina and in the town, his attitude and lack of customer service are unfortunately well known. I'd avoid this marina in future and would not recommend to anyone.
Met Tony from harbour guides last night on the terrace top next door at The Grand Hotel. We asked for local recommendations. He did not let us down . Literally 20 seconds walk from the hotel. The food was to die for. Highly recommended.
Wow, our family stayed here on our sailing cruises to Malta and Gozo. We came here to eat and drink, and was always sad to return back to the boat. We would offer them an exchange, Boat for hotel, but unfortunately they didnt take us up on our offer. In short this hotel and its restaurants are fantastic and definitely the best hotel on Gozo. We will be returning very soon

This restaurant definitely has the best view on the island. It also serves fantastic food, but if its just a drink you want, and to unwind, then make the effort to come here. We have spent many a day here, relaxing drinking and eating. Its that relaxing. Visit it once and you will be hooked.
Really well run Laundry service. We simply dropped off all our minging laundry and picked it up the next day all fresh and pressed.. Very reasonable price too
Wow!! If stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere are your bag, then look no further than the Country Terrace.. We came here many times, either for drinks or food. It will probably be one of our first ports of call when we return in June.
We normally try a different restaurant every day when on holiday. However, we came back twice to eat here (once to impress friends) and each time everything was perfect. We strongly suggest that if you are on Gozo eat here at least once.
The kids loved coming here for a meal. Very friendly staff, and in a fantastic location. The service was prompt and we found eating here was relaxing, but with enough going on to keep you occupied.
We are coming back to Gozo in a few weeks time. Its great to see this little restaurant bar is still here. We really enjoyed our afternoons sitting eating and drinking here. Hope to see you again soon

Well if you are into fantastic views, food and service then this really is for you. We spent pretty much the whole day here and felt so relaxed we didnt want to go back to the boat. We will be here again next year for sure.
If you really are into fine cuisine and top service at a reasonable price, this is for you. Very impressed with this restaurant and the location is ideal.
A great find. This was probably my favourite restaurant on the island. loved the view the service the atmosphere, but most of all the food. a must visit when on Gozo.
On of Tims favourite bars on the island. Really cold beer and good food. very relaxing and the location and vista are perfect. We came here a lot and will come again next year.
Modern fresh restaurant that seems to be family run. The standard of food we had was top class. Another one that we will come back to on our next visit.
Another fabulous restaurant with outstanding views. When in Gozo dont leave before visiting here. The road was undergoing some repair work on our visit, but its still worth the short journey. Once here you will kisk back and really relax. Great service and food!
Another great find on here. We actually ate here twice on our visit. Both times were excellent. Nice busy feel to it creating a lively friendly atmosphere. we will be eating here again on our next trip.
When we saw the video on there advert on this site, we decided we had to come and have a meal here. So glad we did. Lovely food and service. I dont think we would have stumnled accross it had we not seen it on here. Great promotional video too
Right next door to the Indian restaurant we ate at. This quaint little restaurant bar is at the end of the promenade.You can almost dip your feet in the sea from the your table if eating outside. Its relaxing and serves great food
We loved coming to the Pirates Galley on our visit. Friendly staff, and great view overlooking the sea and beach. food good, but also great to call in and have a few drinks.
Lovely high quality family run restaurant near Magarr. This is a must visit when in Gozo. the family who run and own Rexy really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Their speciality dishes are superb, and you leave the restaurant feeling great.

Great little family run restaurant. Great couple running and owning this restaurant in the fabulous location of Masalforn. Food and service ten out of ten.
Certainly one of the best restaurants in Mgarr, or Gozo. Very difficult to beat this place for better food, service or location. Really attentative staff. one of my favourite restaurants.
This is a must visit, the views are breathtaking. We took our dominos set and relaxed on the terrace playing dominos all afternoon. Very enjoyable afternoon. Food and service also fantastic.
