A merry band of GYC junior sailors raced in the 2019 Trophee des Iles, hosted in sunny St Malo. And what a fabulous weekend it turned to be – with some great racing across the different classes and great sportsmanship – and yes, trophies won for both! On 21st Sept, the Rear Commodore of the Juniors, Tim Parkes, together with three sailors – Abigail Boyle (Laser 4.7), Arthur Collinette (Laser Radial) and Luke Elliott (Optimist) took to the airwaves on BBC Guernsey to chat about the regatta.
