Thank You Guernsey

A massive thankyou to the residents and business owners on the beautiful island of Guernsey. Steve has now completed the update of the ever-popular harbour guide to this fabulous sailing mecca.

He has reported back that he was made extremely welcome by everyone and met some incredible people. The businesses are what make any good guide and Steve has found some fantastic ones.

A special thank you goes to Simon at La Grande Mare hotel and restaurant, Alan & Aine at the Duke of Normandie and Pickled Pig, The Fabulous Randalls brewery who Steve sampled many of their wares in their selection of bars and hotels, James and Valerie at the Restaurant at Beaucette Marina, Manuel at Da Nello restaurant and of course Paddy at the Old Quarter. These are just a few of the hostelries that have advertised with Harbourguides for some many years,

I think we also must mention the marine services that advertise on our site. A special thank you to the extremely efficient Boatworks + Who with Mark Nightingale at the helm, makes sure boat visitors and owners in Guernsey are in safe hands.

Island Taxis deserve a mention for getting people around the Island as do Value Rent a Car and what about things for the young ones to do? Well Stuart at Just Games provides a safe environment for them to hang out and enjoy the latest in gaming.

We really could go on and on and unfortunately, we can’t mention everyone in this article, so take a good look at the guide and you will discover more. But finally, for visitors that want to look the best for the night, Toni & Guy will make you look beautiful for any occasion.

Thank you Guernsey, Harbourguides look forward to our next visit
