Windermere Marina Village
Windermere Marina Village is situated on the East shore of Lake Windermere in a private inlet off the main lake. The secluded location provides shelter from the wind and waves creating a safe and calm environment for mooring and enjoying your boat all year round.

One mile south of the main lakeside town of Bowness on Windermere, Windermere Marina Village is convenient for local amenities and access to the fantastic cruising grounds of Lake Windermere as well as the surrounding National Park by foot or car.

With fantastic on-site facilities we can accommodate leisure cruisers and yachts up to a maximum length of 50ft on an annual or holiday basis.

Low Wood Bay Marina

The Low Wood Bay Marina provides Lake Windermere with an exceptional boating facility. As well as its enviable location with spectacular views of the Langdale Pikes, the marina also benefits from the diversity of Low Wood Hotels’ restaurants, bars, leisure complex watersports and activity centre.
About the Marina and available facilities The Marina incorporates 40 water berths with electric and water supply, plus 70 hardstanding storage spaces for “trailer sailors”, speedboats etc as well as 29 garage facilities. There are various storage types available, which run from 1st April to the 31st March. Please note that berths on the water include compulsory dry land storage over the Winter period (cradles must be supplied).

Members benefits.

Our members are entitled to discounted leisure club membership plus discounts on accommodation and meals taken in any of the six English Lakes’ properties. The three lakeshore hotels all have jetties and mooring facilities that members may use free of charge. The Low Wood Hotel can also provide a chef and personal butler to cook and serve food on the boats. Alternatively the hotel can also deliver meals to the boats, including breakfast, lunch and dinner and provide a range of hampers.

The Swan Hotel
Our marina facilities include showers, toilets, water and waste facilities but unfortunately our moorings do not have an electricity supply. Mooring your boat at The Swan marina includes:

Situated on the shores of Lake Windermere in one of the most idyllic and scenic locations in the very heart of the Lake District. White Cross Bay is set within picturesque woodland, and with red deer and rabbits as local residents, a break here is sure to take you back to nature. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a quiet break or active escape.
Enjoy the indoor pool, gym, spa pool, sauna and steam room to feel totally rejuvenated. For the more adventurous there’s an abundance of local walking tracks with stunning views of the Lake District or try the Treetop trek in Brockhole National Park. White Cross Bay even have their own marina on Lake Windermere with boat launching facilities – a walk along the boardwalk to see the boats and ducks is a must! The perfect way to finish your day is with a homemade meal and drink in our newly refurbished Boathouse Bar and Restaurant.
