L'n'O's is a charming and comfortable Portland bistro, situated in a convenient location in Weston. It has been owned and run by Ozzie & Lin since 2005, a husband-and-wife team with more than 20 years of catering experience. Both are passionate about food and, between them, they will do their utmost to ensure that your visit is an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
Lin takes care of all the front of house organisation and you will always be assured of a warm welcome from her. Lin is a genuine people person who gets real pleasure from seeing others enjoying themselves.
The kitchen is Ozzie's domain. He has his own philosophy of food and loves everything to do with food preparation, sourcing the best seasonal produce from local producers and suppliers, meat from the local butcher and personally visiting the fishmonger on a daily basis. These ingredients provide the foundation for Ozzie's repertoire of dishes that are well prepared, innovatively cooked and well presented.
The menu comprises a range of traditional and contemporary dishes from home and abroad, all regularly changed with daily 'specials'. All are served with ample vegetable accompaniments. With very few exceptions, all dishes are homemade and prepared on the premises as well as being cooked to order.
There is a well-chosen and competitively priced wine list.
