We are conveniently located for exploring the surrounding area of Weymouth or the fantastic Jurassic Coastline. Only 5 minutes drive from Portland Marina, hosts of the Olympic 2012 Sailing Events. We are in the perfect location for sailing or other watersporting activities.

The Bunker is suitably positioned for diving from Weymouth or Portland. There are dive shops and a slipway for rib launching at nearby Castletown. The Portland harbour side of the causeway between Weymouth and The Bunker offers perfect facilities for wind and kite surfing.
There is a 10 minute coastal walk from The Bunker to the new Sailing Academy and it can be reached by car in 5 minutes. The cliffs at Portland are very popular for potholers and climbers.
Bird watching and hiking are other interests for which The Bunker is superbly placed.

The Beach House bed and breakfast Portland Dorset backs onto Chesil Beach which stretches 18 miles as far as West Bay. Chesil Beach offers amazing sunsets for photography enthusiasts or for people who simply want to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
The Beach House was built in the Victorian early 1800's and offers 6 en-suite rooms all with colour tv and tea/coffee facilites. We also have a licensed bar serving a range of drinks from alcohol to soft drinks and bar snacks.
We also have a patio area with a private garden and provide ample parking for residents.
We are near to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, and are in an ideal position for Divers, Fisherman and other Watersports enthusiasts.
