We have a large shop & print workshop situated next to Rothesay harbour on the Isle of Bute, West Scotland, run by professional wildlife photographer Philip Kirkham and his wife Anne. The shop was a opened in May 2007, and was a natural progression having outgrown Philip’s small photography and mat making business (which was originally run from the garage at their Isle of Bute cottage).

Shirley has been creating and designing jewellery since 1995. Having studied at Cardonald college in Glasgow for a NC and a HND in Jewellery and Silversmithing, she graduated in 2001 from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee with a B Des (Hons) Degree In Jewellery and Metalwork. Shirley now lives on Bute, taking commissions and Repairs. Shirley also offers a remodelling service. This usually involves the customer providing gem set jewellery which is Carefully dismantled and reworked into contemporary rings, pendants and earrings.

Car Bute has 3 cars, two Ford Fusion diesels, and a Renualt Scenic which is also diesel and can carry up to 7 passangers. The 1.4TDci diesel engines in the fusions are very economical without being sluggish. The Fusion’s 5-door boxy shape makes it very spacious and it drives like a larger car whilst having the handling of a small car. The high driving position is very comfortable and the square shape makes parking very simple.

Rothesay Post Office is situated in Guildford Sq across the road from the Rothesay Ferry Terminal and Marina. We offer all post office services including free cash withdrawals, passport photos, passport check and send, investments & Savings, car tax, banking & bill paying.
