Each trip is unique and varies according to the season. There are almost daily sightings of Seals, Oyster Catchers, Gannets, Cormorants and occasional sightings of Porpoise, Dolphins and Whales.
We also run a variety of Corporate Events, group days, Stag/Hen days and weekends and also custom trips to suit you. For those events we can organise the entire event including accomodation, meals, other transportation and any other requirements that you may have.

Saturn sails was established in 1979 by Colin and Shelia McKenzie and John Highcock. Both Colin and John have over 40 years of sail making experience, and have been sailing a variety of boats since childhood. John is a regular face at keelboat regattas and offshore events both around the UK and further afield with many national, and international titles to his name. Greg Pitt joined the company in 2008 bringing his experience and skills to our sail making team. Greg’s background was mainly in one-design dinghies and small keelboats but is now regularly seen racing keelboats around the UK and Ireland. Colin and Shelia retired in 2012 when Greg became a share-holder and director.

Situated in Largs, a beautiful seaside town that has been a holiday destination for many years the Woodhouse hotel is situated just a few hundred ms from the seafront with walks along the promenade towards Largs Yacht Haven and the ferry to Cumbrae Island. Menai also build the Sea Ranger Rigid tubed boat. Extremely stylish and purpose full. It is a positive buoyancy boat that is equal to any rib, but the solid tubes do not puncture, and contain storage hatches. The benefits to this boat are numerous and we have yet to find a down side.

Marinas, Boat Moorings
Located to the South of the pier there are 24 serviced moorings ranging up to 10 ton capacity.
We have a Wise 80 ton travel hoist, a purpose built hoist pier and 100 metres of heavy duty service pontoons.
The marina office is open 7 days a week from 09.00 to 17.00. There is small chandlery and anything that is not in stock can be ordered through the main chandlery at Kip.
There is 24 hour security on site both manned and CCTV. To comply with Government Legislation Fairlie Quay is ISPS compliant.

The Cecchini family welcome you to our new bar, bistro and restaurant at Ardrossan Marina. Enjoy spectacular views of Ardrossan marina and the west coast in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, we offer a high quality menu. To compliment your meal we offer a superb range of coffees, wines, beers and spirits. Or for those of you who like something different, why not try one of our exotic cocktails or refreshing smoothies.
We open every morning at 9.30 and serve breakfast, toast and a tea or coffee for just £4.95. If you have a smaller appetite, a coffee and a scone or pastry is just £2.95 and is available all day. Breakfast is served until noon. Our lunch menu is served from 12 til 5 and offers a variety of dishes to suit every taste. A two course business lunch is available for £7.50. Dinner service starts at 5pm and is available until 10pm. The restaurant serves a la carte meals all evening and we serve our pasta's and pizza's at just £5.95 from 5pm until 7pm, Monday to Friday.

The Fish Works is a family run business run by husband and wife team Ross and Tiffany Irvin, both have worked in the food industry for over 40 years. Being Largs locals and working on the promenade daily, they had the idea of bringing to Largs, somewhere visitors and locals can come to enjoy fresh quality Scottish seafood in a relaxed environment with the best views of Firth of Clyde.
Being located in Scotland with over 6518 miles of coastline surrounded by clear cold seas, we are lucky to have access to the freshest local Scottish ingredients, our fish is expertly selected from Peterhead by our Fish Merchant, our whole Langoustine are caught daily by local fisherman Ian Wightman aboard the Eilidh Anne. Our ethos is to give our customers fresh food, handmade and expertly cooked in the best traditional way.
