Stingray Sportsboats
Stingray Sportsboats UK was formed in 2010 by Mark Rowley when the trade opportunity arose to start a marine company offering a performance and quality brand of sports boats. Having researched the brands and markets around the world it became clear that Stingray Sports boats was the brand that offered this and were as dedicated to building boats as he was. Mark has over 30 years experience in the marine industry and is passionate about boats. His love of the water and boating began when he was very young, to this day you can still find him on a sunny day on the sea either in his boat waterskiing or jetskiing
Stingray Boats are manufactured in South Carolina, USA and in just a few short years have emerged as one of the leading independent boat builders in the nation.

Karen Scotland and Anne Edmonds both grew up in the great outdoors, Australia and Northern Canada respectively. Their combined skills in art and design, and achieving a BA(Hons) degree in Landscape Architecture at Kingston University directed Karen Scotland and Anne Edmonds’ ambition to create a sculpture park at Karen’s Scottish home on the Kyles of Bute. Both women have spent the last twenty years designing and working around interiors and gardens. Anne’s period working at the National Theatre’s scenery department gave her an insight into the spatial element of design, while Karen’s experience in built design enables construction problems to be more easily overcome.

The SCOTTISH HONKY-TONK, also referred to as the SHT or SKONK, is located on the stunning Isle of Bute, just outside Rothesay, featuring country, blues, and rock music, various moonshines from Kentucky and South Carolina and a sizeable assortment of whiskies and other delectable beers and booze!
A HONKY-TONK is a US southern bar that provides country and blues music for the entertainment of its patrons, and the style of music played in such establishments. Bars of this kind were, and are, common in the South and Southwest United States. Before World War II, the music industry began to refer to hillbilly music being played from Texas and Oklahoma to the West Coast as “honky-tonk” music. In the 1950s, honky-tonk entered its golden age.
