On Wednesday and Saturday nights "JACKS" our fish and chip shop will be open 4.30pm to 7.30pm for takeaway. We will be serving a large selection of fish plus all the regular local chip shop items, according to season and availability. We are also proud to offer 'Betty Humes' mince patties, handmade on the premises.

As far as I know this is the only chippy on the island, and its a good one. The family owned business specialise in fish so the fish is as fresh as you can get anywhere. Its not open every day of the week, or wasn't when we wre there, but it was out of season.

Love this island, it has everything you need and the fact that it has a chippy that sells the freshest fish you are going to find is an added bonus. Its situated in Pierowall and its a nice walk from Westray Marina. You can also buy fresh fish from their shop.
