ImagePARADOX MARINE NAV-TRACKER TENDERTAG

Of all the thefts that affect yachtsmen, stealing tenders is the most common and possibly the most annoying. It is not only costly it is also a major hassle and can lead to a boat being out of action for an inconvenient length of time.

This new bit of kit from Paradox Marine might knock you back around half the price of replacing a stolen tender but, if you can afford it, it might well save you some dosh and a lot of stress and upset. The transmitter is easily concealed and automatically activates and alarm when the tender is separated from the yacht – if the tow line breaks or it gets stolen. It can then transmit text or email messages to up to four people every 15 minutes stating its latitude longitude and speed.

It comes in at around 500 quid so it really depends on what you’re packing.
