By arriving at Clacton Pier in Essex, Jono Dunnett.completed a three month record breaking voyage involving ten hours a day at sea. Dunnet, who had several years experience as a windsurfing instructor in Minorca, made the voyage solo and without the aid of support team or support vessels. He also raised money for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and supporting Tanzanian Orphans and Widows, a Suffolk based charity.
