WOMAN TO MARRY FAIRGROUND RIDE

A woman in Pennsylvania is planning to marry her dream partner, a fairground ride. Amy Wolfe says she has been courting the 80ft gondola ride, ‘1001 Nachts’, for a decade and travels 160 miles to visit it ten times a years. She reckons she has enjoyed an astounding 3000 rides since she first clapped eyes on the magic carpet ride aged 13.

The 33 year old church organist claims she has objectum sexuality a condition that causes people to be attracted to inanimate objects. She has pictures of the ride on the ceiling above her bed and carries its spare nuts and bolts around with her.

'I love him as much as women love their husbands and know we'll be together forever,” said Amy about her fairground attraction, “I was instantly attracted to him sexually and mentally… I wasn't freaked out, as it just felt so natural, but I didn't tell anyone about it because I knew it wasn't 'normal' to have feelings for a fairground ride.'

She intends changing he name to Amy Weber after the marriage ceremony in honour of the ride’s designer. 'I'm not hurting anyone and I can't help it… It's a part of who I am.'
