WHEN PILOTS ARGUE
Friday October 23rd, 2009
According to aviation reports as US passenger jet overshot the runway by 150 miles whilst the pilots argued. The scheduled flight from San Diego to Minneapolis was extended when crew members became embroiled in a heated discussion, Air traffic controllers panicked as they were unable to contact the flight for over half an hour.
It has been claimed that: 'The crew stated they were in a heated discussion over airline policy and lost situational awareness.'
This hasn’t gone down well with flight safety experts who have stated, 'The pilots are saying they were involved in a heated conversation. Well, that was a very long conversation.'
All 147 passengers were eventually landed safely and both pilots have been relieved from active flying pending an investigation
