73 YEAR OLD CANADIAN FOOTBALLERS FIGHT
Two 73 year old ex Canadian footballers ended up fighting one another at an awards dinner honouring the two rivals.
The fight betwean Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca who have held a grudge for nearly 50 years was triggered when Mosca refused to accept a flower from Kapp as a peace offer.
Kapp went for Mosca and Mosca hit back with his walking stick. Kapp then caught Mosca with a punch to the jaw putting him down. Onlookers then broke the two up.the audience shouted to Kapp to “Let it go” and Kapp retorted that he was trying to let it go by offering the peace flower and that Mosca didn’t accept.
The two had held the fued since a 1963 championship game in which Mosca delivered a hit that knocked one of Kapp's team-mates out of the match.Kapp has always felt that the hit was not within the rules.
