TOXIC SMOG HITS UK

The UK is under attack from a toxic smog that is being blown across the English Channel from Europe, sending our air pollution levels into the danger zone, and is expected to remain so for the next day or so.
A combination of high pressure and no, or very little winds has aided the pollution levels to build up. The very young or elderly, and anyone with lung problems, including asthma, are being advised to avoid strenuous outdoor activity, as they may suffer from breathing difficulties.
