THE FEARLESS MOTH

Friday February 18th, 2011
When the lookout aboard the galleon, ‘Fearless Moth’ spotted a pirate ship the crew started to panic. Captain Carl told them to be calm and asked the cabin boy to fetch him his red shirt, which he donned throughout the confrontation. The ‘Fearless Moth’ was victorious.
A week later the lookout spotted two pirate ships and once more Captain Carl calmed the crew and asked the cabin boy to fetch his red shirt. The ‘Fearless Moth’ was, once again, triumphant.
That evening the cabin boy asked Captain Carl why he always wore a red shirt when going into battle.
Captain Carl replied, 'If I am wounded in the attack, my crew won't notice my bleeding and will continue to fight, unafraid.'
A week later the lookout spotted ten pirate ships heading towards the ‘Fearless Moth’. Captain Carl told the cabin boy to fetch his brown trousers.
