TEACHER BECOMES POLE DANCER
A primary school teacher in Hull has given up her day time job to become a full-time professional pole dancer.
Emma Nicholson took up dancing as a hobby seven years ago and two years later set up her own pole dancing studio. She is now competing at national level in the British Pole Superstars Championship.
Miss Nicholson says that along with her boyfriend, Daniel Woodhouse, her colleagues and pupils at her old school have been really supportive and claims her hobby ‘helped open the minds of her ex-pupils.
The 36 year-old said, 'When you're influencing young people, it's dangerous to stereotype as you can't teach them there's only one type of person... This is it now. Until I can't get my leg over my head anymore.'
