ImageMAN ATTEMPTS TO ROB BANK WITH SPOON
Baffled bank staff refused to fork out cash when a robber threatened them - with a spoon.
The staff of a bank in Lublin Poland didn’t know whether to reach for the sky or reach for their yoghurt pots when a would be robber attempted to hold up the branch with a spoon. The cutlery weilding ginger-head burst into the bank shouting ‘This is a a stick up!’ causing staff and customers to throw themselves onto the floor.
It quickly became apparent that the ‘weapon’ the crook was brandishing was not firearms but actually a stainless steel spoon and when staff and customers began to laugh he rushed out empty handed. Lublin police however, are not taking the matter so lightly and Police spokeswoman, Renata Laszczka-Rusek, said: 'It's a weird one but he broke the law and we want to find him.'
I’d suggest they start by checking out local ice cream parlours.
