This year’s Southampton Boat Show is hoping to get into the record books with over 120,000 visitors expected at what has been described as, the best ever event. The show runs between 11th and 20th September in Mayflower Park and will cover all types of boating, including dinghies, powerboats, sailing cruisers, catamarans and, highlight of the show, super yachts.
With over 500 exhibitors it has to be the most comprehensive one-stop-shop on the planet for all things nautical. From clothing to chandlery, gadgets to holiday insurance, the Southampton Boat Show has got it covered.
There will alsoas usual be plenty of entertainment and demonstrations – including a chance to board a tall ship and displays from Search and Rescue. The kids can get hands on with the RYA’s On Board programme or you can have a go yourself with Try-A-Boat feature. The restaurant will cater for all your culinary needs and there are several speciality bars for when you feel like winding down.
Harbourguides will, of course be paying a visit and anyone wanting to hook up with a crew member should contact the site in advance to arrange an appointment.

PS. Most Harbourguides Crew members can normally be found in one of the various watering holes.
