SHARK TANK BURSTS ITS BANKS

A massive shark-filled aquarium in China has caused havoc when it unexpectedly burst open and injured 15 people with flying glass and fish. There was mass panic amongst passers-by at the Dongfang shopping mall in Shanghai as the 10inch thick glass of the 34 ton tank suddenly gave way flooding entrance and sending fish other marine life cascading onto the floor. The tragic incident cost the lives of three lemon sharks and dozens of smaller fish and turtles.

The tank had become a popular landmark in the town with crowds gathering every week to watch a diver swimming with the sharks and feeding them by hand.

A local police spokesman said, 'There were lots of injuries caused by flying glass, some of them serious because the glass was so thick. We are investigating what caused this.'
