SEPTEMBER 2011 COMPETITION
As summer draws to an end there is still a healthy chance of a few weeks of decent weather and opportunities to set sail. In truth September and October can quite often prove a lovely time to be out on the water. You might need an extra layer of clothing but there is something about a fresh autumnal breeze that makes an outing on the water truly satisfying. Of course you will work up more of an appetite than in the summer months. So with this in mind Harbour Guides September Competition prize is an
ASADO BOAT INSTANT BBQ.

This easily attached fold away BBQ simply clips to the rail on your boat and youíre away. Plenty of hot tasty food and the bonus of the warmth of the barbecue itself. Perfect.

In reply to "Boat Owner" comment... We have a BBQ aboard our company yacht and find it perfectly safe so we don't think we are acting in any way irresponsible.Boats also have Cookers on them! They even have engines full of fuel. Some crazy owners even light candles on them. How the seas and marinas around the world are not awash with burning boats we will never know!Joking apart thanks for your comment, but are you really a "Boat Owner"?or a "Wanna Be"? We think the latter..

Dear Boat owner. Barbecues on boats! Whatever next? Gas cookers in galleys? Internal combustion engines and fuel tanks on board. Emergency flares! Candles, gas lanterns, matches, lighters cigarettes, electrical equipment surrounded by water!. My god these boats are potential powder kegs. Well mine is actually made of some sort of fibre glass resin so I guess Iím safe! Thanks for the warning though. Letís hope you donít win the prize and set fire to your boat!

BBQs on boats??? Is this not a fire hazard????...Boats are made of WOOD!!!Your "Prize"could potentially turn a boat into a BBQ!!!!!! Ithink you should think about your choice of prize more carefully.. Considering you are supposed to be a "Harbour Guide" Ithink this is very irresponsible!!!!!!
