Sailor swims ashore after being knocked overboard

A lone sailor was knocked overboard in the Firth of Forth after attempting to adjust his sails.

He spent 30 minutes swimming to Inchkeith Island from where he was subsequently taken to Burntisland harbour. The Kinghorn lifeboat managed to recover the vessel which had later gone aground with engine still running
