Four rescued in Thailand

A British national was amongst four people rescued by the Royal Thai Navy after being adrift in the 11 metre Malasian flagged yacht, Kiss, for five days. After the yacht’s engine broke down, the crew hoisted sail but the mainmast cracked and the sail tore when hoisted on the mizzen. The Royal Thai Navy was alerted by the cargo ship MV Kota Teguhame which initially took the crew on board until the arrival of the navy.
