Portland Bill Lighthouse Visitor Centre
The ground floor of the former lighthouse keepersí cottages has been converted into a visitors centre and is now open to the public. The present lighthouse dates to 1906 but a light has been displayed on the site since 1716. The exhibition also tells the story of Trinity House, established over 500 yeas ago, as well as a presentation on the future of satellite communications and navigation equipment.
