It’s a dream come true for one lucky job applicant. A salary of $100,000 to become caretaker of a paradise island. That’s right. Queensland tourism officials are after someone willing to spend six months exploring then islands of the Great Barrier Reef whilst living rent free in a three bedroom villa with a pool on the beautiful Hamilton Island. The job requires said ‘caretaker’ to write weekly blogs and file a photo-diary and video footage of his or her exploits on the reef.
