PIRATES SEIZE MASSIVE OIL TANKER

Somalia pirates have captured a massive tanker carry crude oil from Saudi to the US. The Maran Centaurus was hijacked on Tuesday morning near the Seychelles. It is believed that there are 9 armed pirates about the vessel holding 28 crew-members hostage.
A Greek naval frigate is currently shadowing the tanker as part of the anti-piracy operation in the area. Although it has not been stated how many barrels the tanker is carrying Lloyd’s List have said, “very large crude carrier, with a capacity of over 300,000 tonnes”.
