PETE GOSS IN SUCCESSFUL CHALLENGE

Pete Goss has been successful in his most recent challenge as part of the first team to travel from Britain to the Arctic Circle in an RIB. Goss and seven other crew members completed the voyage from the Shetland Islands to Norway in a six-meter craft covering 903 miles.

The crossing, skippered by Hugo Montgomery-Swan included a 10 hour 220 mile night stint. Montgomery-Swan has promised more adventures on the horizon.

Pete Goss said, 'This has been a great trip where I have learned exactly what a RIB can do when put to the test... Thanks to a lovely group of people it has been extremely fun and Norway is breathtaking... As we came into Svolvaer we all felt immensely proud of our achievement and I truly hope it inspires others to get out onto the water and explore.'
