OLYMPIC START TO SOUTHAMPTON BOAT SHOW

15 members of Great Britain’s Oylmpic and Paralympic teams turned up at the PSP Southampton Boatshow for the opening ceremony. Four-time Olympic Champion, Ben Ainsley was given the honour of cutting the ribbon assisted by fellow gold medallists Paralympian Helena Lucas and rower Sophie Hoskinsto rapturous applause.

Prior to the opening the Victorious 15 had been given a VIP tour of the show in golf buggies and were greeted at the podium by rapturous applause. F1 stars Jensen Button and Eddie Jordan were also on hand to launch Sunseeker’s brand new Portofino 40 and Predator 2.
