NEW BRITISH MOTOR YACHT SHOW ANNOUNCED

Three of the UK's biggest boat builders have announced that they are collaborating on the launch of a new boat show at Swanwick Marina in May. Princess Motor Yacht Sales, Sunseeker and Fairline have joined forces and the show will debut on the weekend of 17 to 19 May.

Each brand will feature a minimum of five vessels with a dozen boats in the water and three boats on the hard-standing. They also plan to display additional new and used boats depending on stock availability. The show will be free and act as a launch pad for the Princess V48.

Colin Capewell, MD of Princess Motor Yacht Sales, said, 'Rather than the potential buyer having to hop all over the place to compare different boats of the same build quality, here they can see three great British brands side by side in an unpressurised setting.'

He added that if the show is a success it may become an annual event and possibly a mobile show replicated in different destinations three or four times a year.
