Monkey Smuggling

29 year old Gypsy Lawson has been convicted of smuggling and conspiracy after she hid a sedated rhesus monkey under her blouse during a flight from Thailand to Los Angeles. Lawson successfully passed through US customs by pretending she was pregnant.
She was eventually arrested after bragging about the incident to a shop assistant. Her 55year old mother, who accompanied her on the flight was also convicted. The monkey is now in a primate rescue facility in Oregon.
