MYSTERY GOLF BALLS IN BEDDINGTON

Beddington in the London Borough of Sutton, is being invaded by mystery golf balls that are appearing in residents gardens. This might not sound so strange, as many houses near golf courses or driving ranges experience similar issues, But Beddington is three miles away from the nearest golf course and it has only started to happen in December 2013.
The golf balls were initially landing in one couples garden, but now they have spread and other residents are finding them in their gardens and flower pots.
Graham Trodd and his wife had lived on Richmond Road Beddington for 20 years, and had never found any golf balls in his garden until this recent event. He said:
“We started finding them about a month ago. They just keep appearing overnight. I'll just be walking around the garden and then, oh, there's another a golf ball.”
'Then on Friday one of our neighbours said to us she had found one in her garden and another one found them in his flowerpots.”
'Why so many of them and where are they are coming from? I've tried to think about it but I haven't got a clue. It is a mystery. Personally I've got no idea.'
Mmmm..Mighty strange. Ideas anyone?
