MICHAEL JACKSON HAS LEFT THE BUILDING
Friday June 26th, 2009

The self proclaimed ‘King of Pop’ is dead. Michael Jackson’s death has sent shockwaves through the hearts and minds of millions of adoring fans the world over causing scenes of chaos and mass mourning on a par with the death of Princess Diana. The fifty year old singer is reported to have died at the UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles on Thursday at 2.26pm local time after suffering a heart attack at his rented Bel Air mansion.
With tickets for his comeback tour only just gone on sale, fans waiting in queues out side venues around the world have refused to move following the tragic news of their idol. Flowers are being laid by the thousands at landmarks from Britain to Hong Kong that are associated with the body-modified soul singer. There have been reports of mass gatherings of Michael Jackson look-a-likes. Radio stations are playing back to back Michael Jackson and Jackson Five tracks and several tribute TV specials are already in the pipeline. The late King of Pop’s back catalogue is already storming up the download charts and the sales of single white gloves and designed Niqabs have rocketed.
It would seem that it is going to be a while before the world gets back to normal.
