MAN IS CUT IN HALF AND SURVIVES

ImageYou would think that being cut in two by a truck would mean the end of your life, never mind the end of your career prospects. Not so for Peng Shulin a 37-year-old Chinese man who, after two year in hospital to undergo operations that rerouted nearly every major organ in his body, has simply amazed the medical fraternity with his recovery.
Lin Liu, vice president of Bujie Hospital, that carried out the revolutionary surgery had this to say about his star patient, 'We've just given him a check up and he is fitter than most men his age. He is amazing and the only person in the world to survive having so much of his body amputated,' and added. 'He had good care but his secret is his cheerfulness - nothing ever gets him down,'
Now only 2ft 7inches tall Peng travels the country in his wheelchair lecturing about recovering from disabilities and has opened a cut price supermarket called the ‘Half Man-Half Price Store.’

When I watch such people, I sometimes feel ashamed that it is difficult for me to cope with some inconveniences in my life. I have type 2 diabetes and I must take good care of my health.
