MAN AND DOG SEA RESCUE

One man and his dog.

A man and his dog were rescued form their 17ft boat which became stranded in the Bristol channel after the outboard failed.

The boat was described as being the most unseaworthy and ill prepared vessel that the rescue services had encountered, with a windsurfing rig instead of a mast, no VHF, GPS or navigation lights, it was located after a two hours search by Chivenor rescue helicopter.
