A 222 metre seven deck superyacht, “Triple Deuce” is set to take the title of the world’s largest superyacht. Being built for an unidentified owner at a cost of £788 million, it will have a running cost of twenty to thirty million dollars a year and is expected to have a mere 36 guests catered for by a crew of fifty to seventy staff. Top speed is expected to be over 30 knots powered by 100,000 horsepower triple gas turbine engines.
The Worlds current largest superyacht is “Azzam” standing at 180 Metres and of course before that Roman Abramovich’s yacht “Eclipse” coming in at 163.5 Metres.
Well it looks like this time both of them are going to be well and truly eclipsed!
