KOREAN FISHING BOAT RANSOM

China had stepped in to save a North Korean fishing boat they believe to be being held to ransom.
Reports say that there are at least 16 crew members and that they have been held at gunpoint when they were seized in Chinese waters. Apparently a 66,000 fee has been demanded for the return of the vessel.

A Liaoning Maritime and Fishery Administration official told the press, 'These kind of cases just keep happening. There's very little we can do to prevent them.'
