ImageTHE GOOD READ IN THE LOO HITS A NEW LEVEL
The Japanese author who gave the world one of the scariest novels ever – ‘Ringu’, which was adapted into one of the scariest horror movies ever (and adapted again in the US as a slightly less scary movie) has announced that his latest novella is to be printed on toilet paper. Koji Suzuki has made a deal with Hayashi Paper Corps and will have his nine-chapter horror story ‘Drop’ printed on approximately 90 centimetres of bog roll.
The story takes place in a public convenience and has been billed as ‘a horror experience in the toilet’. ‘Drop’ which centres around and evil spirit that lurks in a toilet bowl is expected to retail at around 210 yen (£1.38). Maybe it will put an end to guys reading on the toilet. Maybe it will make it acceptable.
