Kinghorn RNLI rescued a man in his sixties after his 19ft yacht ran aground on rocks south of Inchkeith Island in the Firth of Forth. The RNLI put a salvage pump aboard and towed the yacht to Granton Harbour. A spokesman said the recued man had made good use of his vhf equipment in making a Mayday call and also recommended that a good lookout is made at sea.
