In spite of an International Court of Justice order banning Japan from whaling, Japan contnues to hunt down these leviathans of the seas in Antarctica. Earlier this month, Australian courts fined a Japanese company £460,000 for whaling in Australian Antarctic waters. Japan returned to “scientific” whaling in 1987 and although no whales were killed last year, the Japanese fisheries body gave notice that it plans to kill 333 Minke whales this year.

Come on lets get something done about this atrocity!
