Jules Bianchi the Formula 1 racing driver who crashed in the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix has died from his injuries. The 25 year old Frenchman suffered severe head injuries in the 2014 crash at the Japanese Suzuka circuit and never regained consciousness.
Jules was driving for the Marussia team at the time, they are now known as Manor, and have said the whole team are devastated. He was tipped by many to become one of the great Formula 1 drivers of the future, and was an extremely popular driver.
His family have said that he had fought to the very end, but his battle had now come to an end.
The last driver fatality resulting from an F1 race was that of Ayrton Senna at the Imola circuit in 1994.
