JOAQUIN PHOENIX IN GANGSTER RAP BRAWL

It’s the mystery that’s got all Hollywood talking. Is it real or is it just some elaborate hoax? Is it a guerrilla movie project or is it some kind of performance art statement? The sudden derailment of Joaquin Phoenix’s increasingly glorious movie career into bizarre gangster rapper has had everyone scratching their collective heads. The latest incident in this weird, yet strangely satisfying story of the 34yr-old A-lister’s ‘demise’ took place last week at the LIV nightclub in the Fountainbleau Miami beach hotel.

With hundreds of fans kept waiting four hours until Phoenix finally arrived on stage smoking a cigarette and dressed like a vagrant they were treated to a fully fledge brawl following a fall out between the latter day Commodus and a heckler. According to sources part way into the concert the actor/rapper declared “We have a fucking bitch in the audience.’ Then continued to nod his head and rap in the face of the mouthy audience member “I’ve got $1 million in the bank. What have you got bitch?”
He then leapt into the crowd who began to shout ‘Beat him up! Beat him up!’ as Mr Phoenix obliged them. Security staff eventually pulled him off the heckler and escorted him back stage. The whole performance and brawl (also part of the performance?) was caught on camera by actor Casey Affleck. Brilliant.
